CyberStock ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our AI metadata generator, AI keyword generation, metadata API, and related services for stock photos and stock video metadata.

    1. Information We Collect

    • Account details (email, username, subscription plan, metadata credits).
    • Uploaded images/videos for AI metadata generation (title, description, keywords).
    • Usage logs: IP address, browser info, API usage, request timestamps (for analytics, rate limiting).
    • CyberPusher browser extension data, as described in Section 7 (local settings, connection state, job bookkeeping, and the on-page upload-form content the extension fills during a push you start).

    2. Use of Information

    Your data is used to:

    • Operate our AI metadata tool, metadata API, and UI.
    • Handle subscription billing and metadata credits.
    • Send transactional emails (updates, security alerts).
    • Monitor abuse and enforce fair use (prevent misuse of metadata credits, avoid spam accounts).

    3. Data Sharing

We share limited data with service providers (Stripe for payments, hosting, analytics) to support metadata generation and operations. We do not sell your content.

    4. Security

All metadata processing is encrypted, and result data is secured. We take steps to protect your images and metadata from unauthorized access.

    5. Rights & Controls

    You can request:

    • Access to your stored metadata usage logs.
    • Correction or deletion of your data.
    • Cancellation of marketing or promotional emails.

Contact us at support [at] cyberstock [dot] lol for requests.

    6. Retention & Deletion

We retain metadata logs and usage records to support billing, audits, and security. You may request deletion of uploaded images and associated metadata logs.

    7. CyberPusher Browser Extension

CyberPusher is our optional Chrome browser extension. Its single purpose is to automate uploading and submitting a stock contributor’s own photos and videos — together with the titles, descriptions, and keywords they prepared in CyberStock — to the stock marketplaces the user chooses (e.g. Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, Pond5). The extension only acts on a stock-platform page after the user explicitly starts a push or Teach Mode for that platform. This section describes exactly what data the extension accesses, how it is handled, where it is stored, and what is and is not shared.

    7.1 Data the extension accesses

    • Website content on stock-platform pages. Only after you start a push or Teach Mode for a platform, the extension reads the structure of that platform’s own upload page (form fields, buttons) and fills it with the metadata you prepared, then clicks the platform’s own Upload/Submit button. It does not run on, read, or collect data from arbitrary websites, and it does not operate in the background.
    • Metadata you prepared. Titles, descriptions, keywords, and categories you created in CyberStock, used to fill the upload form on the platform you selected.
    • Session presence (cookies). The extension detects whether you are already signed in to a stock platform on that platform’s own domain, so you never have to re-enter passwords. Cookie values are never read, stored, or transmitted to our servers — only the presence of a valid session is checked.
    • Optional live-view capture. In Automatic mode, an optional in-browser preview of the managed tab is processed locally (in an offscreen document) so you can watch progress. It is not uploaded to our servers.

    7.2 How data is handled

    • All automation runs locally in your own browser, on the platform tab you are working with, using your real IP address and your existing logins.
    • The extension acts on a platform page only after you explicitly start a push or Teach Mode for that platform.
    • The debugger permission is attached only during an active, user-initiated push to reliably drive complex upload forms, and it detaches when the job ends. No data is collected through the debugger.
    • We do not use remote code: all extension logic ships inside the extension package.

    7.3 What is stored

    • Locally in your browser: your extension settings, the pairing/connection state with your CyberStock account, and non-sensitive job bookkeeping (e.g. which files are queued and their progress). No passwords or platform credentials are ever stored.
    • On our servers, linked to your CyberStock account: job bookkeeping needed to coordinate pushes and show progress (e.g. job IDs, status, target platform, success/failure). The asset files and prepared metadata are the same data already described in Sections 1–6 of this policy.

    7.4 What is shared

    • Job status and bookkeeping are synced between the extension and your CyberStock account so you can track pushes.
    • Your files and prepared metadata are uploaded to the stock marketplaces you explicitly choose — this is the purpose of the product.
    • We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties outside these uses; we do not use it for purposes unrelated to the extension’s single purpose; and we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending.

7.5 What the extension does not do

    • It does not collect passwords, authentication credentials, or read cookie values.
    • It does not track your browsing history or collect data from sites unrelated to a push you started.
    • It does not run automation in the background without an explicit push or Teach Mode that you start.

7.6 Permissions and why they are used

Each permission is used solely to fulfill the extension’s single purpose: storage (settings, connection state, job bookkeeping); tabs / activeTab (open and act on the chosen platform’s upload tab); scripting (fill and submit the upload form); cookies (detect an existing sign-in on the platform’s own domain); notifications (alert you when a push needs attention, e.g. a CAPTCHA, or when a job finishes); alarms (schedule background job checks and heartbeats with the CyberStock web app); offscreen (run job/recipe logic and the optional live-view capture); and debugger and host permissions (drive uploads on the platforms you add, only during a push you start).

    8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our metadata generation models, subscription plans, the CyberPusher extension, or regulatory compliance. We’ll notify users ahead of material changes.
